The IMCD is currently accepting applications for the position of Resource Technician.

This is a six month term position, based out of Ethelbert, with the potential of turning into a permanent full time position.
Work will focus on programts throughout the District for conservation, flood control and environmental sustainability.

Under direction from the Manager and Board duties will be split between field and office.  Assigned tasks may include, field surveying & data collection, GIS analysis, equipment/building maintenance, drone operations, temporary staff supervision, as well as project design through to completion.

The successful applicant will possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus a valid driver's license.  Training or experience in GIS or field surveying is considered an asset.  Good communication skills are required for working day-to-day with clients and for public outreach events.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Interested applicants can submit resume and references to the IMCD.
